UN General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. It is first international expression of Human Rights. It is described as the "International Magna Carta".
The declaration contain of 30 articles which can be divided into four parts.
1.The first two articles consists the basic principles.
2.Articles 3 to 21 consist of civil and political rights
3.Articles 22 to 27 contain economic, social and cultural rights.
4. The last three articles specify the context within which all the Human Rights are to be enjoyed.
